Alex Flanagan

She was a graduate of the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. Flanagan is an anchor/reporter on NFL Network and NBC Sports as well as a journalist on the sidelines in Football Night in America and the home matches for Notre Dame football. Flanagan can be seen and heard in her channel during the Madden 10 or Madden 11 video games. In these, she hosts the weekly game recap show alongside Fran Charles. Alex was born in Sonoita Arizona. She is married to former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. The couple has two daughters as well as one son. Alex's parents operate the Arizona steak houses "The Steak Out", which is located in Sonoita and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journey on her career as a reporter for news and anchor during her time at college. She was an intern for students at KVOA-TV and she began reporting on sports in 1998. The networks she worked for were diverse that include NBC Sports, NFL Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports. Additionally, she was an active Gamma Phi Beta member. Flanagan's first job in TV was working as a Saturday anchor and general assignment reporter at KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota following her graduation.
