Bellamy Young

Young started her career as an actress in the theater. Young made her Broadway debut on Broadway in the year 1997 as Mary who was the very first actress of The Life. [8][9] She has also been seen off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's music production Merrily we Roll Along (1994) as well as the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). She made her debut on television in 1995 when she landed a recurring part as"Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap drama Another World. In 1997 and 1998 she appeared as a guest on Law & Order, playing two characters. In film, she made her debut in 1999 with the role of a minor character in Black and White. In the years following, she appeared in various independent films. In the early 2000s, Young started to appear as the guest actor on a assortment of television dramas as well as comedy programs, including The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Between 2000 and 2011, Young made appearances in over thirty television shows. As of 2003, Young was cast as a regular in The USA Network show Peacemakers. After the show ran for nine episodes in a season, the series was cancelled. The actress played recurring roles on the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami in 2005 through 2006 and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the youngest son-in law in the Darling Family.
