Elizabeth Jane Hurley is an English actress and model who gained fame as the friend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. In the 1990s, when Hugh Grant's movie Four Weddings and a Funeral became the subject of global interest in the media, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace gown with gold safety pins. It instantly brought her media recognition. The highlight of Hurley's professional life is her relationship with the cosmetics company Estee Lauder. The company gave Hurley the first model gig at the age of 29. They have used as models for their products, particularly perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition as well as Pleasures from 1995. Vanessa Kensington is her best known role from the Mike Myers spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), both that were a huge success. I Kissed a Girl was a more aggressive ode to sexism, that was accompanied by a slashing electronic-pop beat. The track sparked debate, many critics claiming it of encouraging the same-sex relationship and others saying that the sexually explicit scene was created to appeal to the men's fantasies. I Kissed a Girl's combination of excitement, a polished tune and a catchy tune helped to make it a top ten song across a range of nations. It led to an album called of the same name of the Boys (2007) selling well. The album's 2nd single Hot N Cold also proving well-loved, the album which Perry created herself ultimately registered greater than three million copies within the United States.
